Treatment Recommendations

• High-dose dexamethasone therapy should be immediately administered in patients with spinal cord compression to reduce inflammation and tissue pressure, as recommended by the Haematologica guideline 1
• If spinal cord compression is due to bone fragments, patients should undergo surgical decompression, according to the Haematologica guideline 1
• Patients with neurologic impairment should receive local radiotherapy in addition to surgical intervention, as suggested by the Haematologica guideline 1
