  • Response evaluation should be performed after 2-4 cycles and after completion of treatment using appropriate radiological tests, according to the European Society for Medical Oncology 1, 2

Monitoring and Follow-up

  • Follow-up should include history and physical examination every 3 months for 2 years, every 6 months for 3 more years, and then once a year, as recommended by the European Society for Medical Oncology 1, 2
  • Blood count and a similar blood test should be monitored at 3, 6, 12, and 24 months, according to the European Society for Medical Oncology 1, 2
  • Radiological examinations should be performed at 6, 12, and 24 months after end of treatment, as recommended by the European Society for Medical Oncology 1, 2
  • Patients who received neck irradiation should have thyroid function monitored at 1, 2, and at least at 5 years, according to the European Society for Medical Oncology 1, 2
