Introduction to Urachal Carcinoma

• The National Comprehensive Cancer Network recommends en-bloc resection of the urachal ligament with the umbilicus for urachal carcinoma 1, 3
• Urachal carcinoma requires complete urachal resection and may have a worse prognosis than conventional bladder cancer 1, 2
